Telkwa Community Hall

Telkwa Community Hall - 1390 Birch St

The Community Hall may be booked for a variety of events including meetings, weddings, banquets, parties, corporate functions, special events, and more.

 

Maximum Capacity: 247 people (depending upon event set up arrangements)

Facility Features:

  • Main Hall (39' x 66’)

  • Access to commercial kitchen

  • Catering supplies

  • Wheelchair accessible

  • Tables and chairs

  • Washrooms

  • Portable stage (6 stages each 4’ x 8’)

  • WiFi connectivity

 

To rent the Hall, a licensee must:

  • Sign a Rental Agreement

  • Pay applicable rental fee(s) at time of booking

  • Pay a damage deposit

  • Purchase/provide all relevant licenses and certificates for food service, drink sales/service and/or music licensing

Council Chambers - 1415 Hankin Ave

For small meetings/events (~10 people), the Village office Council Chambers may be rented for a full or half day.

Eddy Park

Located on Highway 16, Eddy Park is ideal for photography sessions, weddings and community gatherings.

 

Park Features:

  • Gazebo

  • Electrical

  • Washrooms

St. Stephen's Heritage Church

This historic church was deconsecrated in 2019, it is now used as a meeting space and is open for tours through the Telkwa Museum.

​

At a cost of $100.00 for a full day, St. Stephen's Heritage Church is available for that special occasion. The back room of the church can be rented for a meeting area - 20 to 25 people is comfortable. There is a small, modern kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave and there is renovated washroom. Cost for an evening session is $20. For booking please call Carol at 250-846-5280.

Stage at the BBQ Grounds

For outdoor events, concerts or shows, the stage at the BBQ Grounds is a great community space.

  • Benches
